Cookies
On our website, we use so-called ""cookies"". Cookies are text files that are transferred from a server to the hard disk of your computer and remain there for the duration of the session or until deletion, depending on the type of cookie and the settings of your Internet browser, and through which certain individualization information are transmitted to us.
Cookies are used to store your system and usage information relating to the use of our website. They may also contain a unique identifier that allows us and other website providers to distinguish your system from other systems and to recognize it the next time you visit.
With these functions we intend to guarantee and increase the user friendliness and functionality of our website.
For this purpose, we use the following for our website:
- Necessary cookies
We use “necessary cookies"" to enable the comprehensive use of this website. This concerns in particular the correct display of content.
- Functional cookies
Functional cookies are necessary to ensure the operation of technical modules. In doing so, the user is offered improved, personal functions, if desired.
- Marketing and targeting cookies
The use of marketing or targeting cookies is also possible. These are used to target users according to their interests and thus to make the display of advertising more specific. Such information and visits to the advertising offers can be evaluated and shared with third parties in order to improve the targeting and advertising of third parties but also each site functionality. For this processing, we separately obtain your consent, unless the data is processed anonymously.
- Analysis cookies
Insofar as analysis services are used on our website, this is usually associated with the setting of one or more cookies that record and track your user behavior. Among other things, data is collected about you and your system, your visit to our website (e.g. content accessed, interests, purchases, clicks and visit duration), the visit of preceding or subsequent websites and the use of advertisements. The processing of the information is anonymized unless you have given your consent to the processing of the real data. From this consent form, you will also receive more information about the data collected.
In detail, we use:
- Transient Cookies
Transient cookies are automatically deleted when you close your browser or log out. These are, in particular, session cookies. They store a so-called session-ID, which can be used to assign various requests from your browser to the session. When you return to our website, your system can be recognized.
- Persistent Cookies
Persistent cookies are automatically deleted or switched off after an individually specified period of time. They are used to recognize your system even after the session has ended.
- Third-Party Cookies
We use analytical cookies to monitor the anonymous user behavior on our website. In addition, we use advertising cookies. With these cookies, the user behavior can be tracked for advertising and targeted marketing purposes. Social media cookies allow us to connect to your social networks and share content from our website within your networks. For this processing, we will obtain your consent separately, unless the data is processed anonymously.
- Other Technologies
These functions are not based on cookies, but on similar technical mechanisms, such as flash cookies, HTML5 objects or an analysis of your browser settings. The result is likewise that we may use the technologies described below. Here, too, you can of course consent or object.
The legal basis for cookies that are absolutely necessary for providing you with the expressly requested service is § 25 para. 2 no. 2 TTDSG (= German Telecommunications Telemedia Data Protection Act). Any use of cookies that is not absolutely technically necessary for this purpose constitutes data processing that is only permitted with your express consent. This applies in particular to the use of advertising, targeting or analysis cookies.
You can prevent or switch off the use of cookies at any time by choosing the appropriate settings for the Internet browser used. You can at any time delete cookies that have already been stored. Without cookies, however, various functions of our website may be limited or not usable at all.
In addition, you should occasionally delete the browser history manually to remove existing cookies.

In order to ensure that the registration is actually carried out by you, we will at first send an e-mail to the indicated e-mail address after registration, asking you to confirm the registration. By confirming the registration you inform us that you agree to the registration (so-called double opt-in procedure). We log your registration for the newsletter, the sending of the confirmation e-mail and the receipt of your confirmation.
We would like to point out that we evaluate your user behavior when sending the newsletter. For this evaluation, the e-mails sent contain so-called web beacons or tracking pixels, which are single-pixel image files that are stored on our website. For the evaluations, we link the aforementioned data and the web beacons with your e-mail address and an individual ID. Links contained in the newsletter also contain this ID. The data is only collected pseudonymously, i.e. the IDs are not linked to your other personal data, a direct personal reference is excluded.
You can at any time terminate your subscription to the newsletter and revoke your consent to the storage of data stored for sending the newsletter. For this purpose, there is a corresponding link in every newsletter. You can also unsubscribe directly via our website or by contacting us via the aforementioned contact methods.

We can thus check whether our website complies with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation and determine what data our website collects and passes on to third parties. We store your personal data on the basis of an order processing contract for a period of 12 months in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR. You can object to the storage of your data at any time or deactivate the execution of the code of Cookiebot in your browser settings.
Google Analytics
For our website we use Google Analytics, a tracking tool of Google, LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google"). The thus generated information about your use of our website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, due to the activation of IP anonymization on this website, your IP address will be shortened by Google beforehand within Member States of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area.
Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.
